Blackrock Hospice

Blackrock Hospice is a €6,300,000 project which provides palliative care to terminally ill cancer patients. Residential care and day care are to be provided, together with family overnight accommodation and support rooms. The project is being funded by a charity.

The project was opened by President Mary McAleese in May 2003.

 - Security and CCTV
 - Data network
 - Aerial system
 - Fire alarm
 - BMS
 - Lighting, including site lighting and emergency lighting
 - Emergency generator
 - Medical oxygen systems
 - Space heating
 - Domestic hot and cold water and fire hose reel
 - Generator long term fuel storage and delivery and foam inlet
 - Central mechanical ventilation to interior rooms
 - Hydrotherapy pool air handling and water treatment systems
 - Commercial kitchen ventilation
 - Gas distribution

Our scope also included a listed chapel, underground car park, a mortuary embalming room, etc.
