Semple Stadium, Thurles

Semple Stadium, home of Gaelic hurling and football in the Munster region, and  is the second largest stadium in Ireland, with about 53,000 seats. The project consisted of the extensive upgrading of the stadium with significant improvements throughout. Floodlighing has been provided in the stadium suitable for high definition broadcasting of what is one of the fastest ball games in the world. The project included hundreds of sanitary appliances, hospitality facilities, changing rooms for four teams with associated physiotherapy facilities, concession stands for hot food, VIP areas, control rooms, numerous turnstiles etc.

· Pitch irrigation systems
· Public address upgrade
· Communications systems for broadcast and print media Data network
· Fire detection system
· Lighting, including site lighting and emergency lighting
· On site power generation
· Space heating to key areas
· Domestic hot and cold water to hundreds of sanitary appliances
· Above ground drainage
· Mechanical ventilation systems
· Concession stand infrastructure
· Gas distribution
